Croydon NAIDOC Week 2024: A Celebration of Indigenous Culture and Resilience

This year's theme highlights the unwavering strength and resilience of Indigenous communities, inviting us all to celebrate the beauty of Indigenous identity with pride and unity.

From June 30th to July 8th, 2024, Croydon will celebrate NAIDOC Week, focusing on the Tagalaka People, the traditional Indigenous people of our region. Occurring ahead of the official dates, this allows participants to join both local and national events. Embracing the theme "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud," the community will unite to honour the rich history, diverse culture, and remarkable resilience of the Tagalaka People through engaging activities, workshops, and performances.
