Croydon Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated Manager Works Services to drive our roads and infrastructure projects forward. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with council departments to oversee funding, planning, and construction phases for Shire and State roads.

Position Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage roads and disaster works to a high standard.
- Monitor workflows and supervise contractor performance.
- Utilise expertise in tender processes and project budgeting.
- Enhance community engagement and information sharing.
- Implement strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Formal Engineering/Infrastructure qualification or relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of road funding, planning, construction, and contractor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and excellent computer literacy.
- Proven project management and prioritisation skills.
- Strong presentation skills, tailoring complex information for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities.
