Skills & Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

This full-time role is essential in ensuring the smooth delivery of key programs, including Childcare, the Matron Morrow Library, the Swimming Pool, community events, community engagement, funerals, Environmental Health, and other initiatives.

Position DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

Deliver high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, facility usage, and job cost allocations.

Provide administrative support, including preparing correspondence and reports.

Support the Community Services Manager with grants, cultural heritage initiatives, funerals, sports, recreation, leisure activities, and community grants.
Essential Requirements:

Experience in administration and customer service roles.

Croydon Shire Council is seeking highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join our team as trainee or apprentice. This full-time, paid position is offering valuable on-the-job training and a nationally recognised qualification.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for a traineeship or apprenticeship under the Queensland Government's First Start initiative, you must:
- Be 15 years or older and no longer attending school
- Meet citizenship, residency, and visa requirements
- We encourage applications from:
- Young people (aged 15-24)
